Tim's Biography
Tim was born in Yorkshire (& boy doesn't it show!) and qualified from Guys Hospital Dental School (now part of King's College London) in 1984. Tim worked in Barry for two years before starting, in partnership with Fiona, a new practice in Griffithsown in 1987. As Fiona reduced her committment whilst raising their young family, Tim increased his working hours. When Fiona took over an established practice in Cwmbran, Tim also worked there until 1995 when they decided to merge the two practices on the one site in Cwmbran. Tim is currently undertaking a 5 year Post-graduate Diploma in Dental Studies and is Treasurer of the Annual Conference of Local Dental Committees. He recently stood down as chairman of the Gwent Local Dental Committee, but is still involved in local and national dental politics.
